For productions filming at Shepperton studios we have a fully equipped medical centre located centrally within the studio. This facility is available only by advanced booking and subscription to productions working in the studio and on the backlot. Medical centre standby is a cost-effective alternative to having dedicated medical staff on your set. Once subscribed, any of your cast requiring advice or treatment can enjoy the privacy and superior facilities of a proper medical room. In an emergency medical staff can quickly attend stages or workshops in the studio and we provide clear signage for your working areas informing crews of the location and contact numbers for medical staff.

Medical centre standby is a great option for builds, de-rigs, workshop cover and small shoots. Customers normally find that a dedicated medic on set is a more appropriate option for a large unit and would normally be essential for SFX, pyro, stunt or other high risk scenes.
 
We can also arrange GP visits, health checks, insurance medicals and vaccinations for units going overseas and have a database of local physiotherapists, chiropractors, osteopaths and sports masseurs.

PLEASE NOTE: For contractual and insurance reasons we can not offer treatment or advice to productions not subscribed to the medical centre and do not offer any kind of ‘walk in’ or ‘pay on the day’ facility. It is a condition of studio tenancy that productions not using the medical centre can verify that they have their own medical or first aid provision on set.
